It's been a while, and I have been busy. I didn't want to box myself in as a 'jack of all trades' (true as it may be), but there were other facets of creativity I wanted to explore. I am currently a dubbing coordinator at a global localization company, and my VO career has been picking up traction. I am currently composing for a stealth action game, and a small cast audiobook (for which I am also adapting/casting/directing). And to top it all off, I'm still a single dad, in a relationship, and we just bought a house.
But I had some stuff I needed to track for my sanity, and my own creative growth and fulfillment. I started an ambient side-project called 'studioSomnia' which is my first real conceptual music project. I've released three albums on most/all streaming platforms, with NG being the drawing board. It's done entirely to my own tastes, and it's hard enough trying to convince people to cast you as a voice talent, so I'm not marketing this at all. I'm hesitant even to post this and claim it under my own name, lest the two identities water each other down or something.
But on the other hand, this is NewGrounds. We're all about encouraging creativity in all its forms. I believe so fervently in that mission that I am paying for NG subscriptions on both accounts. And if you are here, it is because you are here for that, and will likely only appreciate the opportunity to hear more. I will still post random audio experiments here, but if you are looking for something more than a loop, please consider checking "me" out.
